Unibanco's BIS ratio stood at 16.3%, above the minimum of 11% required by the
Central Bank of Brazil. The fixed assets ratio in December stood at 39.5%, with
an impressive improvement due to incorporated companies goodwill write-off, mainly
Banco Bandeirantes.
