| The Wealth Management unit works with Unibanco's branch network to provide Private
Bank one-on-one investment consulting services to Uniclass clients. The consulting
services aligns the clients' individual investment profile to maximize the risk-return
ratio in their investments.
This service was offered in 2004 to clients in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro,
Belo Horizonte, Recife and Porto Alegre with unqualified success, readying it
for expansion in 2005. It earned, in addition to substantial financial returns
to clients, a marked improvement in client retention and satisfaction, and fresh
capital inflow of as much as 50% of the original portfolio. Additionally, it
helped to improve synergies between Unibanco's various business fronts.
