Instituto Pedro di Perna offers help and low-interest loans at times of childbirth, marriage or death. In 2004 it approved 20,326 loans, for some R$80.5 million. It also offers a special mortgage service, accessed by 668 employees in 2004, with a total portfolio of 2,281 mortgage loans valued at R$119 million.

Instituto João Moreira Salles is devoted to complementary benefits, such as short and long-term disability pay. It also pays supplementary birth, marriage and death benefits. In 2004, the institute extended aid to an average of 170 employees per month.
